Title: openspace
Gender: Male

Location: San Francisco, CA
About Me:
I facilitate “Open Space Technology” and other fun, generative methods for inspired, productive meetings and conferences.
I learned Open Space from its originator, Harrison Owen, and have used it for 15 years with clients across the US from my home base in San Francisco.
Most recently I co-facilitated Recent Changes Camp 2008, an unconference for about 70 wiki editors and designers and entrepreneurs. One participant said “this was the best day of conversation about wikis that I have ever had.”
Some of my work:
STRATEGY RETREATS
School for Transformative Learning
Access to Software for All People
St. Augustine Parish Adult Education Program
New York City Alternative and Arts Schools
Sustainable Sonoma County
Castro Area Planning Association
Network of Ensemble Theatres
CREATIVE CONFERENCES
International Association of Conference Centers
American Adoption Council
Council on Foundations / Regional Associations of Grantmakers
Fast Company/Charitech 2.0
Sonoma County Land Use and Transportation Coalition
Theatre Communications Group, New York
I wrote my PhD about using the process in conversations toward community sustainability.
Join us for the World Open Space on Open Space conference in late July in San Francisco - www.wosonos2008.org. There's a training beforehand if you have not experienced the process, and an evening with Harrison Owen on July 22.
I'd love to talk anytime; write me at magic.teams at hotmail dot com
